Welcome Artists from around the world, of all shapes, colors, young or old. We all have the creative gene that makes us all similar. If you are have stumbled upon this , then you must be in a similar boat as me . We also know the dreaded feeling of a brick wall that blocks our creative flow once in a while, in better terms , artist block. It is an artist's worst nightmare. It stands in our way and prevents us making something new. It is a downfall for any artist. Weather your a writer, sculpture, or any designer of some sort , it can be a huge pain in the backside. It seems to be happening a lot lately to me . For me , i find it to be one of the biggest inconveniences.
There is no right or wrong way of art, each artist has their own depiction of it, their own interpretation of beauty. I personally find the morbid, beautiful. The ending of one , leading to the start of something new, something bold, something with an impacting message that speaks to everyone different. Our society is based on perfection and having "normality", whatever that is.
There is no normal., so whoever told you that there was , they are wrong. Who is anyone to say that the way things are, are normal? Nobody truly knows what normal is. When you hear someone say normal, what do you think of? Do you think of a happy kid going to school to learn about people in our past, who we have not met , who had died. How does that contribute to us now, in a society like this? Do you think of the average american family, two parents, and some kids , a dog and their goldfish. The mom with her vegetable garden and the father with his poker buddies and business suits? We would think that is all normal but who is to say anything in this life is normal. That our actions, the way we think, speak to one another and live. Is anything really normal? That is why there are artists. The world is not perfect, far from it if you asked me.

If it was, then self expression would not exist. Opinions would not exist, we would all think the same, talk the same, be on the same mental wave length. Maybe we would not have creative outside the box thinkers. Us artists are not normal. We seek to find the abnormal in anything and turn into a mind boggling piece that makes us all question the real idea of normal.
To anyone struggling with artist block, Id advise you to not let it stand in your way. Do put your best paint brushes and pencils forward. Do not think, simply create.
Make something that was not in the world yesterday but will be there tomorrow for the "normal" to question .
